The finishing process consists of a 12-step ritual practiced for centuries; a nitrous finish over 3 coats of semi-gloss lacquer creates an extremely hard surface assured to endure indefinitely. Fine West German Hermle movement with chimes and resonant tone are guaranteed by the manufacturer.
